Professional Blogging

Professional blogging is one form of interactive journaling that can enhance communication inside and outside an organization. Internal blogs are used to effectively convey information within an organization, replacing a variety of meetings, e-mails, and corporate literature. External blogs are primarily designed for public relation purposes, such as product/service information.

Tips for effective, appealing blog writing include: adherence to established policies for comments; descriptive headings; interesting audience-centered messages; stimulating, clear, and concise writing; and supported statements.
